Located at the crossing of Xi Tai Lin Road and Yuqiao Road in the San Lin area, Pudong, Shanghai, Shanghai Future Land has a site area of approximately 110,000 m2, a floor area of approximately 140,000 m2, a plot ratio of approximately 1.4 and a green coverage rate of up to 40.1%. Neighbouring Shanghai Future Land, are E-MART, a large supermarket on the opposite roadside which was opened at the end of May 2006, and a large commercial zone with an area of 60,000 m2 on the other bank of Tong Fen Jing River, which accommodates various types of large supermarkets, department stores and the venues for fitness, entertainment and pastime. Upon formal operation of the commercial complex, it can be at the reach of the residents of Shanghai Future Land by just going over a bridge. The major construction work of Shanghai Future Land for 2006 was a commercial pedestrian street with a floor area of 17,000 m2 in the community. With theme restaurants occupying 75% of the commercial area, and supplemented by various daily necessity outlets such as convenience stores and drugstores, it was built into a culinary venue where Sichuan Cuisine, Shandong Cuisine, Guangdong Cuisine and Shanghai Cuisine are all available.

Shanghai Future Land chose B&Q, one of the Global Top 500 and the largest household building materials supplier in Europe, as its cooperative partner to build quality homes. It received a full range of services including overall indoor decoration plans, procurement and construction from B&Q, with latest-style furniture and home furnishing products of world famous brands supplied at favourable prices from a number of world famous brands including A.O. Smith, Lafarge, Roca, Kohler, Moen, Siemens, Nippon Paint, Haier and ASA Group. With these world-famous brand products carefully designed and matched up by as many as 100 international designers and constructed according to the international standards of B&Q, Shanghai Future Land was truly built into a world-class well-decorated community. Through cooperation with world famous brands, what Shanghai Future Land offers is no longer merely a decorated home but an exquisite living style.
