Project overview

Gemdale Green Town is the first project in Wuhan by Gemdale Corporation, one of China’s top ten listed real estate companies. This project costs a total investment of RMB1.5 billion, occupies a site area of 497,900 m2 and has a GFA of 700,000 m2 with plot ratio at 1.5 and landscape ratio reaching 47.2%. This project comprises various property types including multi-storey residential buildings, garden houses, townhouses and semi-high rise residential buildings, a commercial pedestrian street with GFA of 12,000 m2 and a 6,000 m2 sports and recreation clubhouse. A parcel of land of around 10,000 m2 is reserved for education purpose and the construction of a kindergarten and a primary school is planned. This project is completed with full supporting facilities such as financial service, medical care service and preschool education etc.  Positioned as a pure German-style waterfront town endowed with modern civilization and a free and open spirit, creating an ecological (with natural vigor ) and quiet living environment. Gemdale Green Town, which borders the 6,000 mu Nanhu Lake on the east and the 2,000 mu new campus of Wuhan University of Technology to the north, is further supplemented by two municipal waterscape parks (under planning). These two parks, one on the east and the other on the west, with a 75 meter-wide green belt between them, create a rare high-quality ecological and recreational residential area integrated with urban civilization, ecological landscape and cultural life. The development of this project is divided into three plots: A, B and C. At present, Phase I Project of the Plot A development has been put into use.
